OBIO Investment Summit 2027

The OBIO Investment Summit returns for its 2027 edition from February 2 to 4 at Arcadian Court & Loft in Toronto, continuing its position as Canada’s largest health science investment event. Since 2018, companies presenting at the summit have collectively raised $3.1 billion and completed more than $1 billion in M&A and licensing activity, with more than 325 companies having presented over that period.

Unlike biopharma-specific partnering events, the summit’s investor base spans biopharma, medtech and digital health, giving Canadian medtech companies direct access to the venture and corporate venture capital actively deploying into the sector. The 2026 edition alone drew more than 190 VC and corporate VC investors and produced more than 735 partnering meetings across 100-plus presenting companies, a scale that makes the summit a meaningful venue for companies seeking capital rather than a networking add-on.
