Hear David Dean share lessons he learned in sell-side corporate finance and throughout his career in business development in industry.

David is currently the Chief Business Development Officer at Canary Medical, where he is responsible for all corporate development activities. Canary Medical is best known for developing the world’s first (and only) “smart knee” and has a robust pipeline of connected digital implants under development. Prior to joining Canary Medical, David was Chief Business Development Officer at the European-focused specialty pharmaceutical company Correvio, as well as a Director and Research Analyst at the largest independent investment bank in Canada.

David holds a Master of Business Administration in finance from Queen’s University and a Master of Science in physiology from the Department of Medicine, University of Ottawa.
